This copy is then used to Content search/eDiscovery as needed, however it is NOT what the Teams client itself uses, so being able to restore those messages wont help. WebJun 24, 2024 · Agree with pvanberlo, if the chat hasn't been permanently removed from the Substrate Folder, you should still be able to use eDiscovery to search the messages.
